Exporting from studio will export your avatar including the changes and customizations.
There are 3 types of exports, the settings apply to ‘Export Avatar’ only, as the other 2 types are for meshes only.
Exporting options explained:
Overview of the Export Menu
- Export Avatar - entire character, export includes files: DHS file(Reblium SDK Importer file), FBX file, Textures and Grooms files (abc - alembic file).
- Export Raw BaseMesh - Export Base Mesh of the Reblium Avatar (Quad Export)
- Export Avatar (only head base Mesh) - Export base head mesh, use in any DCC and import back your custom head shape.
Materials:
- Merge is on by default - Export a single texture and material will be generated and assigned to the character
- Setting Merge off will export higher quality, separated textures and materials up to 4k per texture.
